I tried crochet first time to knit this cap which I found in a book.
I inserted a wire in the edge of rim to sustain the arch shape.

Tampan Cross Stitch

This particular ship pattern is called "Tampan", and it is from Lampung  island of Indonesia."Tampan" is sacred cloth, and used for all kinds of ceremonial occasions in Lampung island.
